We decided to continue Jeff & Cathy's work hoping to impact Aurora by showing God's love and providing a place for community. Instead we have been blown away by the incredible support of the River Valley church family and the love and unity of the downtown Aurora community. The Oasis is a gathering for followers of Jesus Christ. We are located in downtown Aurora and desire to worship with the residents of Aurora and the surrounding communities. We worship through contemporary music and expository preaching of the Word of God. Our deepest desire is to be obedient to God and be faithful to His word. We walk with and love all that come and assist them in transformation.
*The work the Lord has been doing in our midst drives me to my knees. I am overwhelmed at God's love, grace, and truth. We have seen people surrender their lives to Jesus Christ; we have seen people confess and repent from sins in their lives; we have seen relationships restored with family and friends; we have seen people move on to new seasons in their lives; we have seen new people added to our body and we have seen many people stay the course and continue in the fellowship at the Oasis. Through our home fellowships, we reach our communities for Christ and nurture inter-personal relationships with one another while pursuing deeper relationships with our Lord. We meet house to house during the middle of every week to pray together, worship together, learn together and serve our Lord together. We believe that our world will be best impacted by sincere followers of Jesus Christ living a true faith in our neighborhoods. Today, we meet in homes in east and west Aurora, Batavia, Warrenville, West Chicago and Yorkville.

*Hi my name is Josh and I've been a member at Teen Nite since 2006. Teen Nite is a good experience for kids to get to know Christ, if they don't know Him already. Even though we do a lot of fun activities at Teen Nite, at the end of the day it's about Christ. The last 30min everyone comes together to hear a message from the Bible and see how we can relate our lives to it. When the message is over Deacon Aaron gives us something to think about for the week. Teen Nite has brought me closer to Christ and closer to Deacon Aaron.
