Millions of Christians across the globe fast during lent to make a deeper connection with the Lord during this sacred time of the year.  From Saturday April 1st after lunch until after church on Palm Sunday, 4/2, we are inviting the whole church to fast from eating food.  During that time, it is my prayer that all of us will spend extended time in prayer and Scripture reading as we focus on the eternal significance of the redemptive death and resurrection of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
